Faculty of Law and Labour Studies

The recent history of the Faculty of Law and Labour Studies dates back to 2002, when it was established under that name. A new faculty was created at the University of Vigo: the Faculty of Law and Labour Studies, offering three degree programmes: a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, a Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Relations and Human Resources, and a combined degree in Business Administration and Law.

Three master’s degrees are also offered: Master’s in Law and Legal Practice, Master’s in Labour Management and Administration, and Master’s in Minors in Situations of Vulnerability and Social Conflict.

Equality Label

The Equality Label has been created to make the effort made by many in our University, who fight everyday to research, teach, transfer, manager and produce feministic and from a gender point of view scientific knowledge visible, and publicly and institutionally acknowledged. This initiative aims to acknowledge the work made by centres, schools and faculties in the field of a real and effective equality between men and women promotion, and, in this way, achieve a more human, equality and fair university.

The Faculty of Legal and Labour Sciences achieved the Equality Label on april 8, 2022.

Centre certified by FIDES-AUDIT

On July 3, 2015, the Agency for Quality Assurance in the Galician University System (ACSUG), certified that the Internal Quality Guarantee System of the Faculty of Legal and Labour Sciences was implemented according to the guidelines in the Programme FIDES-AUDIT. This certification has been renewed on 10/11/2022..
